The Electricity Access Scale-up Project (EASP) is a Government of Uganda program aimed at accelerating nationwide access to clean, reliable, and affordable electricity through both grid and off-grid solutions. Supported by the World Bank and partners, the project promotes solar home systems, mini-grids, and clean cooking technologies to drive universal energy access.
As part of this transformation, EMINING is playing a leading role through its EMSOLA brand — a Verasol-certified solar product line. By 2025, EMINING has connected more than 23,000 households with solar home systems, expanding clean energy access and improving livelihoods in rural and underserved communities.
